these are all show bred dogs attempting Sch.....i am saddend to watch it i really am i feel sick this is NOT what a GSD should be like FFS!!

i mean no offence to show ppl on here, but this is all about money at the end of the day get titles and sell the dogs for more. but sorry wen you breed a dog for a certain colour and shape you breed out what really matters in a working dog and this clip proves it

i have nothing against show dogs what i do have is against show ppl who exploit our breed there are many amazing Sch show line dogs out there who are AMAZING but this pissed me off lol

The dogs in the first video were a bit lame compared to the mali in vid two The first dog looked very nice tho

The guy in the suit must have nerves of steel especially when the dog is jumping up behind him and the last bit where he gets his shoulder the dogs teeth are so close to his neck and head

these GSDs will be bred from and have sch titles ?? then their pups will sell for more. sad really

exactly and they were not in that first vid! i had a guy attack me one night trust me kiera didnt run away lol and she took a battering and this is what annoys me when some show ppl tell me their dogs could work.....hmmm yes i can see that...

i felt so sorry for the dogs as one woman put it on my FB the dog is looking for his happy place lol you could see the fear those poor dogs x

Especially number three (i think) the first one that ran away His ears were back before he started and he looked scared Certainly didnt look like he was having fun

exactly its ment to be fun hun and it wasnt for the dogs in the first vid bless them and when they did bite it was weak and stressed the helper didnt help matters either you would have thought he would have helped them out a lil

god i would love to meet the ppl who train these dogs and decided yea they can go and do their Sch 1 ect lol the poor dogs at end of the day thats who i feel for not their crap handlers/trainers/breeders

freds show bred .... and i think hes gawjuss pawjuss lol.... a dogs a dog at the end of the day .....

whether its for showing, security,schutzhund,obedience,tracking....

looks to me dont make a dog, health and temperment does beauty is always in the eye of the beholder isnt it lol

but these dogs are bred for looks shape and colour as well as temperment *altho something went wrong there didnt it lol*

kiera and Rostam are not appealing to ppl at all and to be honest it isnt a bad thing, they are both very workman like in looks as looks was last on the list of things being bred in them lol

same with a TB horse of mine she was workman like in looks BUT F ME that horse could jump lol but ppl would pass her by as she wasnt flashy so to speak

I think its the training that goes into it Shelley, it can be harsh on a dog thats not "built" for it, which looks like we saw in the vid. The dogs were scared and they should be happy

I was reading about the training the other night, it was stressed heavily that the dog needs a certain drive to do this and you cant make it have this drive, its natural.

If they dont have it, the training can be overwhelming etc and it does make me worry about the dogs stability in the long run.

that makes sense now .... so for example its like making a normal domestic pet into something like a tough security dog.... .....

if the drives not there then its gonna make it unstable in the long run

I dont know if it would do, but I do worry about it. I've known a few nervy GSD's and with the wrong treatment, they turned into the most unstable dogs I've met. I think I'm too weary of nobs with dogs :2445:

sch is a sport your right hun, but these dogs are clearly not up for it, as much as its a sport the dogs are still put under a certain amount of pressure. these dogs could clearly not cope with that as P has said. also these dogs will prob get their titles and then thier pups be sold as pups from sch parents....its a bit like saying cos kiera was police bred shes a police dog, not the case she was bred by them not worked by them does this make sence...its false advertising too.

it also shows the IMO bad breeding going on with some GSD's as even as a pet you dont want weak nerves the GSD's i saw the other day had weak nerves NO WAY will they be taught bitework due to this.

some show ppl always argue their dogs can work as they have sch titles i always said IMO means shite all to me a working dog and sport dog are compleatly diff things

the dogs looked terrified and thats not what this sport is about

i understand better now .. so you cant teach any old dog shc... it has to have the right breeding to be able to cope with it ....
