My mum had two teeth out yesterday, but today she looks terrible, her face is all swollen and bruised, lips are black and blue and inside is just black, she looks a right mess, like someone has battered her, she is really down and in discomfort, so get well soon mum x x My poor mum 805515 My poor mum 805515

She was awake, had to have stitches too as it wouldnt stop bleeding, dentist are writing to docs to make sure nothing underlying x x

Aww thanks everyone, some of the swelling has gone down but the bruising has come out more, so looks even worse in a way. Even the dentist called her yesterday to check on how she was (or to make sure she's not suing them i suspect - or am i just being synical?!)

id be a bit funny of it to, i had teeth out last year, nearly had to have stitches in one where the wisdom tooth had come out, they split my bottom lip while pulling that one out, but didnt have any bruising My poor mum 583730 my OH had nearly all of his pulled out about 2 years ago and again no bruising, think he had 17 done!! nor have i heard of people getting bruises from having teeth out!
My friend is a dental nurse, i would ask her for you but shes just lost her mum so i doubt shed want me asking about teeth! I would still look into it though hun!
