| We went over to Mascani yesterday to see Mo and Zep and discovered i have been over feeding Keira on RAW food :2431: I have noticed that she seemed to pant more after her walks and take longer to recover after running around I was paranoid about this lung worm thing everyone keeps talking about especially as i know someone whos dog had it and nearly died Anyway it turns out she has put on weight and i havent even noticed As soon as Mo saw her she said she has a belly and could do with losing a bit of weight :2445: I know the feeling No wonder she is panting more than normal i didnt realise she is carrying extra weight Thinking about it when we got home i think it all stems from when she cut her side because she went from having hour long sessions running round Cannock Chase every day to next to nothing for about 3 weeks because we couldnt take her out just incase the cut got infected Then we had the snow which probably cut usual walking time down aswell and she was put on to the new RAW diet which i have been feeding too much of It all adds up to the extra weight so i am cutting her food down as of today to get her back into shape It shouldnt take long as she isnt that FAT!!! Just goes to show how easy it is to put weight on Anyway im off now taking TUBS for her walk | |

| Thing is she doesnt look much different to me but Mo noticed as soon as she saw her I have been feeling bad about it all day thinking i have fattened her up giving too much food and treats
Like OH said tho show dogs always look leaner than normal pets so maybe Mo was looking at her from a judge like view | |

| mo always notices the weight of dogs lol.... when she once saw fred, the first thing she commented on was how lean he was looking, and they had him fattened up within a week :2431: ... i must take fred round to see what they think of him now, we havent been for the best part of a year lol.... | |

| i have to say im obsessed with weight too lol i like my dogs lean and very well muscled so they are on strict diests which suite their activity and if any of the pet dogs in the house look a lil podgy i dont half have my say lol they only deviate a couple of kilos if any tho lol | |
