Subject: marley and kalas Loch Ness hols day 12 Wed Sep 19, 2012 8:27 pm
Got up this morning to another beautiful but chilly day here at Inverfarigaig. We had decided last night that we were going to take a run over to Tomatin Distillery about 45 mins drive away (shhhhhh Suzie dont tell Craig!!! ) as we have travelled over 1000 miles so far Tomatin distillery is the highest in Scotland. normally Ed only visits 1 distillery on holiday and buys a bottle to bring home but we are surrounded by quite a few here and he didnt know until we got here that I had saved for him to visit a few as it was really chilly up there I told Ed to do the tour and I stayed with the dogs
then it was just a chill afternoon and let the dogs play on the beach. I have to say ive been so proud of the pair of them this holiday they have been so good, Marley has let people cuddle him and Kala has only Barked at one dog which was a rough collie
Heres todays pics with some spectacular views at the end!
It wasnt as pretty as Glen Ord
The mash
the Stills
Different Casks - Ed Loves a sherry or Port Cask
The casks are burnt to different levels for different flavours
and of course we werent buying anything!!
then it was back to the cottage Via the little shop that kept us going through the hols
and a bit of Posing that M&K do well
Was that a boat I heard?
Hurry up then you two we want to play
a nice fire going to keep the midges away!! score so far Ed 0 Midge bites Jude 12 midge bites!
It got a bit gloomy
It didnt rain but there was yet another rainbow
ok we will just lie here and wait then
and then photobucket went off!!!! i will upload the views and a gorgeous pic of Marley with a rainbow in the background when photobucket comes back on!!
Its Back!!
Nevermind the rainbow throw me another stone to chase!!
I just love this shot of marley
Kala having a mooch about!!
some beautiful views from today on our travels
Its our last day tomorrow We are travelling home on Friday to have the weekend to sort ourselves out before work on monday. We still havent decided where to go but we will make the most of it!!
