My camera battery died yesterday so I couldnt post any pics
Day 9 we decided to go to Inverness and walk part way down the Caledonian canal we walked from Tomnahurich Bridge in inverness down to the Muirtown Locks and back again!
marley was put on his lead again and was really good until we got to Inverness City centre and he went crazy got through the city centre and he calmed down again! Having his Halti and lead on is definitely making a difference and making for more pleasant journeys
Tomnahurich Bridge just caught it nicely opening for a boat to pass through

It would have been nice to see a boat come up them but it wasnt to be!
It started getting very gloomy and we didnt have our waterproofs with us
It rained for about 5 mins so wasnt too bad
another nice picnic area

There were some athletics going on at the sports centre nearby a starting pistol went off and poor Kala got a fright she hid under the table

Ooo I haven't been to Inverness since I was a kid. Great pics again hun. Lovely views again makes me want to move to Scotland. Poor pups having to hide from those insensitive athletic people didn't they know that his Lordship was present

They were fine thanks Suzie once we got them back to the car. Ed has suggested a boat holiday doing the caledonian canal from top to bottom

kala would be a nightmare to keep on the boat with her love of water! Im absolutely terrified if i dont feel safe and I wouldnt feel safe on a little boat. I love walking along river banks, canals etc but never go near the edge. Ed knows never to park his car riear the edge of water even if theres a designated parking space as it sends me into panic attack and hysteria
