marley and kalas Loch Ness hols day 11

It was a beautiful Morning this morning the sun shining over the Loch was a lovely sight, everything was so peaceful not a ripple on the water everything still and quiet...........then marley erupted he was going ballistic!!! I ran into the conservatory thinking that there was maybe someone at the door but no this is the sight i saw



and this is what he was barking at



a tiny little white boat on the Loch!!

Today we decided to go down the loch to Fort Augustus and ended up doing a return journey from the other side of the Loch

then i was soooooo chuffed as what i was hoping to see at muirtown on Sunday was happening at Fort augustus boats waiting to to up the Locks!!

















It was a real sight to see and Marley and kala were so good and patient. today they have been videoed photographed and cuddled by Local people and also people from USA, canada, France germany Japan and wallsend on tyne!! everywhere we go people stop us ask about them and ask the question that drives me nuts......" Is she a Belgian shepherd"? Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

We have had sunshine and showers again today the showers when they came were heavy but only lasted minutes. We walked along the canal

It was lunch time and all the picnic tables were taken apart from the ones for customer use only at the bothy pub so Ed bought a pint and I had a Tia Maria and coke well we were customers just ate our own food!!

After Fort augustus we made our way up to Castle Urquart but it was £7.40 each to get in so we decided as i wasnt going in because of the dogs Ed wasnt going to pay that price just for a couple of pics so this is what he got from the car park







we made our way back along the loch and took marley and kala straight down to the beach for half an hour as they had been so good!

Absolutely fantastic pics and view of your holiday, as I said before, my type of holiday loving the updates

I can honestly say we will come back here to this cottage maybe not next year but definitely will be back. I would love to buy it to be honest!! I was a bit dubious as its a semi detached but weve never seen or heard the old lady next door and the garden is very secure. Its so peaceful on that little beach I could look at the view for hours and hours

Impressive sights again hun absolutely beautiful can't blame you or wanting to retire there extremely jealous

i would love to go there, lol at the belgian shepherd , pam who owns gemmas bleck and tan pup was at a show , she came 7th but the judge said 7th place to the belgian shepherd lol if a judge don't know the difference what chance does joe public have

The thing that really gets me Sue is when they give you that look as though you are the stupid one when you say "well actually no you are wrong she is a german shepherd......then they usually come back with whats she crossed with!!!!!! She's crossed with another german shepherd was my last comment to some ignorant bloke who was trying to tell me I didnt know what my dog was!!! lol!!!!!

I get asked if bella is a Belgium shepherd quite a lot I tell them she's a newshepland .....that confuses them
