| hi Guys, opinions and advice please. Sadie is my 12 year pld rough collie and leader of my pack, for 18 months she has had an intemittent bladder problem and I have Propalin in the house when needed. Since thursday she has been soaked every single night and I have done up to 4 dog bed changes for her during the night. the vet put her on the max dosage of propalin and tested for infection which was negative. she is perfectly well in herself, playing and eatingm but she is definately drinking more. On Monday she will reurn to the vets for blood tests. she is dry during the day. as you can imagine, I am worried sick, any ideas guys/suggestions | |

| Sorry to hear this Hilary Hopefully once shes had a blood test the vet can see whats happening and hopefully treat it My mums dog had a weeing problem She was tested for infection etc and everything came back negative The vet did give her a course of antibiotics anyway and it did help a bit but it came back again After lots of investigation it looks like it was a mixture of old age and stress This was after she went to live with my brothers family and their nutty dog Casper who Roxy had to try calm down The vet said the stress of settling in and putting him in his place was stressing her out My sister in law went out and got a DAP collar and spray to try help which she thinks has made a big difference I also had a cat that this happened to years ago cant remember what treatment she had tho She was really old and had a stroke again i cant remember if the problem was before or after that anyway she had the same problem during the night She recovered from that and lived till she was 19 I thought once she started the weeing on herself during the night she was a gonner but she survived atleast another 5 years Sadie recovers soon | |

| sorry to hear sadie is going through this , and its only my opinion but if she is dry during the day it looks if she does have some control of her bladder , have you tried giving her a cut off time at night for her water , i know people usually leave water down but if she's getting free access to water during in the night , she might not be able to hold it in the same , if you are up early on a morning try giving her a drink about 9.30pm let her out for a wee before bed , | |
