| poor shady ... she must be pissed off... havng pups then losing her hair ... poor mama ... i hope you get it sorted soon hun, has it got worse over the weeks or has it just stayed as it is ...if you kwim lol .... my vet is exactly the same as yours.... he disagrees with raw feeding too | |

| aww poor wee lass Is shady nibling at it, or is it just her coat has dropped out? The stuff i buy is more for dry skin (colloidal oatmeal shampoo & a virbec spray conditioner). Sorry i cant be of help Karen, i hope the stuff you get works. | |

| Karen, if you don't want to take her to a traditional vet, why not take her to a hostilic vet , they only give natural treatments, might be more expensive but you might be able to claim on your insurance, | |

| I do know of a woman whose Bernie loses loads of hair after whelping so it could well be hormonal. Dont some women lose hair at a greater rate after having a baby because they don't lose any whilst pregnant? The main concern for me though would be the scratching. Although that could be due to the loose hair I suppose. Difficult one but the suggestion of a holistic vet sounds useful. | |
