R.I.P. Max

Sabre is keeping a pretty low profile.... kinda quieter than normal, almost has that "I'm sorry" look. However.....

he has already stolen Max's spot by the fireplace!

you know...that can be his way to say " I miss you Max"... by taking his spot...I am sure it is a way that he mourning :love:

So tonight I walked Max's walk, and cried... and walked.. and cried some more.

Been looking through some photos... and cried... and smiled a little... then cried some more!

He was such a character and could always make me smile when I felt down... I need to remember that... and try to smile again for my faithful brave boy.....



There was always so much love in his eyes!

Aw bless him, you never know - Sabre maybe keeping Max warm.. :love:

You will feel better, when you have his ashes back.. :love:

except he was soooo loved and couldnt have had a better mum if he tried hun cry it out it helps i still cry a lot over xena and we are here for you if you want to chat as it does help and never EVER think you are a burden doing so hun :love: :love:

no worries its brought it all back and the pain does ease slightly, but i think to feel such pain just makes you relise how human we really are i have never been like this wen friends and family died then our dog died and i couldnt function.

Strange you should say that. My nan died last Christmas and it didn't affect me anywhere near as much as losing Max has. Not sure why!

awww, ive just caught up on this.... i really feel for you linda, i wont lie and say the tears stop and the pain eases, because it never does, it just gets easier to cope with..

what a lovely idea about the locket, i did this when boss died a couple of years ago, i thought my heart would break it was so painful... we had him cremated, but i have never been able to part with his ashes ... i have some of his fur and a picture of him in my locket, even though he will always be in my heart, as max will be yours, its nice to know i can reach out and touch the locket when im feeling down...

max will always be with you hun, and will always know how much you loved him... i spent months feeling guilty because i couldnt be with him when he was pts....i just couldnt stand there and watch that... i often sense his presence, and that is enough for me to know he loves me and forgives me :love:

Aww so sorry to hear this Linda.. :love: It's such a shame and the pain is incredibly hard to deal with but in time, as Shelley said, you will find ways to cope with it.. It never goes away but you do learn to keep going.. There's not much else to say other than rest in peace little fella and I am sure you will both see each other again one day..
