Our Hols 2014 day 10

Well it had to happen 10 days into the holiday and we have had our first horrible cold and rainy day.

The sun was shining over the loch when we first got up but within an hour it was doom and gloom!
We decided to have a drive over to the Isle of Seil which you can get to without a ferry by going over the Clachan Bridge ( which is also known as Bridge over the Atlantic the bridge spans the tidal waters of the Atlantic at Clachan Sound)

there was no one in this shop that was selling postcards pictures souvenirs things were priced at 50p or £1 and an honesty box!!

It was blooming cold









passenger Ferry to Easdale island. No Cars allowed the Island is too small







we drove back to the cottage through Glen Lonan. It was very scarey!! Ive been on many single track roads with loads of passing places this was a VERY narrow road and very few passing places! Luckily we only came across 2 cars coming in the opposite direction near a passing place but it was still tricky. It was a beautiful Glen just unfortunate nowhere to stop. We did come across these by the roadside

and driving back to the cottage we came across these blocking the road!!



The rest of the afternoon we sat watching fish jumping birds swimming and Sammy the Seal playing in the bay

and again you can just make him out!



I love this cottage.....think I will become a squatter!!
