Our Hols 2014 day 2

day 2 of hols Marley was a pain in the backside all night! He was out of sorts when we got here he's not a good traveller... gave us the look as though to say This isnt the Loch Ness cottage we love and he wouldnt settle at all through the night He hates change and takes him a while to adjust Heres hoping for a better night tonight!! Today has just been a chill day, a trip into Oban for a food.....and alcohol shop Its been a beautiful day the dogs have played in the loch Our Hols really start tomorrow with touring around the area... we are off looking for castle Stalker which Ed tells me it was in some Monty python film .....apparently theres a very nice cafe there which makes lovely home made cakes and scones....thats more up my street!!

Not as Many pics from today.....they should be better I was wondering why some of yesterdays looked blurry.....there was a huge fingerprint on the Lens.....oooooops!!

Dogs look very settled hun sure hope Marley is better tonight. Have lovely day touring tomorrow. You should holiday more often i love your blogging lol xx

Marley was much better last night. We gave him 1 extra sedation tablet on the way up( okayed it with Neil as marley walked all the way to Loch Ness in May!) but it has really knocked him out of sorts so just his usual dose on the way back

If you like it so far just wait until you see day 3!!!

Poor Marley suffering with the travelling Mickey is the same now hes fine on short car journeys but anything over an hour he gets upset and starts whinging then he gets an upset tum Id love to take the dogs up to Scotland but i just dont think Mickey would make the journey

What do you do with the dogs when you go sight seeing Do you take them or leave them at the cottage or a bit of both depending on where your going

The dogs go everywhere with us Bren We would never be able to leave them as they would go berzerk in a strange place. Marley follows me everywhere to start with. He is a pain in the car but I can put up with it on short Journeys....Kala is as good as gold.
Its been lovely watching the fish jump and all the wild birds weve seen Herons cerlews golden eagles ducks swans etc etc and also a seal swims by every now and then!

I thought you probably did take them everywhere id struggle if i took my two theres no way Mickey would behave himself
My dogs are the same Keira is no problem but Mickey gets totally stressed out

We sat with them at a picnic table at the cafe beside castle stalker. It was very busy with people and a load of bikers etc they just lay down no bother at all. We gave then a drink and a biscuit and they were happy as larry! A man walked by with 2 collies and they looked but that was it there was no bad reaction which I was really pleased with. They were as good as gold
