Well today is the last day of our Hols. Technically we dont need to leave until sunday but want a clear day before going back to work and to see what work needs to be done with the house rewire while we we have been here and of course more importantly to see my mam and dad.
Today was very autumnal sunshine and showers we've really only had 2 very bad days out of 2 weeks and that for Scotland in September is amazing!!
we decided to visit St Conans Kirk ( church) we have passed this building numerous times on our travels and something just kept drawing me to it. I love architecture and is very gothic. Its on the banks of Loch Awe not far from Kilchurn Castle which you can see from the back of the church. We would have loved to have photographed a wedding here!!
love these drainpipes
From St Conans Kirk we decided to go back to Castle Stalker to have lunch at Castle View Cafe. Brie and Cranberry Panini followed by one of their fab fruit scones with jam and cream and another walk down to the castle. The view was totally different to last week as the tide was way out!!
Heres a few pics
caught in a heavy rain shower at the cafe.....the coffee was excellent!!
I hope I havent bored you too much with my pics. I've really enjoyed sharing our holiday with you. With the way things are at home with my Mam I really dont know when our next holiday will be.
BUT be warned......all these pics are from my camera......Ed has taken about 600 pics on his and I will post some of his when he gets around to sorting them!!
Bye Bye from Taynuilt Loch Etive and this amazing cottage. If any of you want time away with total peace and tranquility then this is the place to come. I am really going to miss the views that we wake up to every morning and the time we have spent watching the wildlife on the Loch. I'm sure we will return one day

Gaz would love looking around there, he would spend ages there. There are a lot of interesting places in britain that we never get a chance to see.
