    Question for you.

    I have a Lakeland X who is almost 17 months old.
    I was warned when I got her that she would have to be hand stripped rather than clipped as this damages the coat. She has been stripped 3 times now and each time she has looked different.
    On this latest occasion I took her to a show groomer and she has stripped her really close. I've been told this is how show groomers do them, that it will do her coat good (told this by a pet groomer) but that customers usually hate it.

    Just wondering if anyone else has a dog with this type of coat

    Boss was a Lakeland x border terrier bev and I only ever had him stripped once and hated it HAND STRIPPING 910222 ... After that I always had him clipped, he looked loads better and it never damaged his coat HAND STRIPPING 805515
