any news on your mum in law hun?

She was admitted last night and told her wound was infected and that she would be in the hospital for atleast 5 days then

i got a call this morning saying she was coming out today as the doctor had been round and said it was an abcess on the wound that had burst
They cleaned it out and shes home now
Shes feeling alot better but has got to take it easy for the next few weeks

What a mess about I'm sorry hun hope it heals quickly and she's feeling better soon. I take it she's on antibiotics now poor love I bet she's really fed up

Tbh shes just glad to be home
I was going over today but shes got quite a few going today including my OH after work so im gonna go over and spend the day over there on Friday

Mum in law had big op nearly 2 weeks ago Shelley
She had part of her stomach and liver taken away was a shock as she was originally gonna just have keyhole surgery but ended up having to have major surgery with a massive cut from her breastbone to her naval
She came out on Friday but had to be rushed back in the other night
She had the staples removed on Saturday and an abcess had developed
Hopefully shes over the worse now
