it started with the stud dog with hips of 70, well just about everyone that breeds longcoats has been dragged into it, i do agree with some points that they are saying such has dogs been low score and none scored should not be mated , but in all fairness there are good and bad breeders long or short, in fact there is 1 now on champdogs hips 25 [ score not given on champdogs or her website ] and sire very well known kennel, he didn't mind getting his stud fee for a mating, i think its just all got out of hand long or short they are sheps, the most beautiful loyal dogs in the world, there must be some kind of ism for them not liking longcoats ,

not been on ped database for a while, its full of idiots lol....

long or short, theyre beautiful in theyre own right

the GSD is a beautiful breed regardless of the coat length

i noticed they had it in for longcoats!! Bloody idiots!!!

i sometimes have a nosey on PDB ... but i never post lol.... i wouldnt dare,i would be gunned down within seconds.... :2431: ... theyre all right in what they say and everybody else is wrong... it winds me up when they start proper slating other breeders and each other etc!! :rolls eyes: :

Dont Care!!!! I prefer them breed standard or not!!! dont think people should slag off reputable breeders of longcoats as long as with any breeding they have the proper checks, its persona lpreference same as slope or straight back, I hate slope which again is breed standard!

it started with a dog with hip scores of 70, and the long coats got dragged in because the said dog was a l/h. I don't care about whats standard and whats not. I do care about the health of the GSD breed tho no matter what the coat length/colour is.
the thread poster cant tell me that she has never come across a Standard that's been bred from with a high hip score so why she mentioned Long coat breeders in the same sentence
is pathetic there are many l/c breeders that health test, and some that don't same as for the Standard breeders.

jude says I hate slope which again is breed standard, 3 of my dogs are breed standard 2 with slopes 1 more middle and then i have my longcoats , i wouldn't swap any of them [ well maybe rea ] i love them all the same , and i'm afraid noone would tell me what and what not to breed , i know at 1 time any pups born longcoat were culled don't think that goes on now :2431:
