Howz your mom? we haven't had any updates for awhile

Aww thanks for asking

Shes a bit of a nightmare atm but we are coping better now we have our routine sorted Some days you wouldnt know there was a thing wrong with her and other days are terrible
We have to do most everyday stuff for her now cooking cleaning shopping etc but she does try to do a bit herself She is forever putting clothes that ive just washed and dryed back in the washing machine and tries to cook stuff on the cooker thats been disconnected I just wish she would stop over feeding her dog we have to feed the dog for her but she tends to give the dog half of everything she eats aswell so the dog is way too fat I keep telling her its not good for the dogs health she agrees says she wont do it again but then she forgets five minutes later i will see her giving the dog half a sandwich
Last week when it was really hot i went round and she was in the back garden fully dressed in winter clothes with boots on and wearing her dressing gown over them

Atleast the power of attorney is nearly finalised I had to cancel an appointment she made the other week to have cavity wall insullation put in her bungalow It really worries me she will be ripped off by someone cold calling
All in all tho she isnt too bad and still enjoys living at home Theres no way she would accept living in a home Our intentions are to let her live in her own house as long as she can with help from the family for now then when things get too bad we will get some home help

But what can you do other than what you are doing already

I would hate the thought of some bastard ripping her off as well

Yes atleast if a decision has to be made it can be done legally

I need to sort all her banking stuff out as soon as it comes thru especially after all the hassle i had last year with them opening new accounts etc and get all her post sent to my address aswell She really has no idea what she has financially and couldnt really care either so would be a prime target for a conman

I hate those bastards they just don't care about anyone but themselves. I saw on tv this week about them ripping off people. Scum they are.

Definately Was thinking of getting a Beware of the Dog sign with a GSD or Rottie pic on it to try scare the cold callers away They take no notice of the sign up atm
Could do with one that says ALL COLD CALLERS f**k OFF OR THE DOG WILL HAVE YA
She only has a shy collie really but she does bark when people knock at the door
