Any news on your house moves

we have had 6 viewings but they think my kitchen is too small. We have kept the kitchen and utility seperate and its potential to knock them into one if need be, also because of the 3% stamp duty bracket Ed and I decided that we would reduce the price of the house to £255K and would accept £250K for a quick sale which our estate agent says anyone getting the property is getting a bargain but the market is really slow she thinks people are waiting to see what is going to happen in the budget tomorrow.

Was really fed up last week we had a viewing The people seemed really interested spend about an hour here asked loads of questions were really friendly then when my agent tried to get feedback they wont answer their phone They have been left numerous messages asking them to call back but are ignoring them how ignorant is that It makes me so mad They loved the house but i have a sneaky feeling they werent really in a position to offer anyway They told the agent they were under offer but when i was talking to them asking if they were local they both had different houses so maybe they had to sell two houses who knows
Anyway ive spoken to the agent selling the one i want today and she has confirmed the market in this price range is dead atm and that the bungalow hasnt had any other interest so its still there waiting for me
Im hoping after the budget tomorrow things will pick up Ive done everything i can Ive dropped my price and Ive upgraded my advert on rightmove so its all down to fate now

Bloody hell Bren you must be well pissed off with them

I don't know what will happen with this budget but I hope things start to become more stable and we see some growth. At least your bungalow is still there waiting for you

And me Sandra the sooner tomorrow is over with the better atleast everyone will know whats happening with the countrys finances

Yes i felt better when i found out the bungalow was not getting any interest either Just hope the seller doesnt decide to take it off the market The agent seems to think he needs to sell so hopefully that wont happen

I hope he doesn't take it off the market for you. In 12 hours Bren the budget will be out and you will have a better idea what may happen

everythings crossed at this end for you girls.... theres nothing worse than selling your house, so im told...

If we dont move we will see if we can buy some land at the side of the house from the council but i would much rather move

Atleast we would have a decent bit of garden for the dogs to run round in
