well as you know kia was diagnosed last year with cdrm she also has very bad hip dysplasia and unfortunately she is only five years old anyway we got her through som of the worst of winter and we really thought we were doing extremely well................on thursday night i awoke around 3am to terrible screaming in the house thought ah f***k della has taken kia outcoz they all sleep downstairs i just throw blankets down for them but kia sleeps in the bedroom with me though the child gates are open if she wants to go down and get a drink anyway we rushed downstairs to find kia collapsed at the bottom of the stairs della nowhere near her diamond and toz sleeping in the kitchen we managed to get her up the stairs and i checked her over her right front leg completely gone so gave her some painkillers and later got her to the vet he cant find anything wrong no break no injury nothing but has come to the conclusion it is the cdrm and nerves being damaged along the spine to the shoulder now he didnt have much positive ideas to go with i am so gutted she has been so down this week and limping and if she has been lying down for awhile when she gets up she whimpers and limps off we have uped her metacam and devils claw and glucosamine and we have been told to see how it goes i dont want to loose my baby yet!!!!!

Ems i feel for you i really do it's horrid to see yer baby in pain and the decisions that have to be made make it so hard. you have done everything you possibly can for her and i'm sure she knows that. you will know when the time is right she will tell you "Mum i'm tired of this" i've seen it 3 times over the years and although it's hard. you do it because you love them god bless yer
