jo who owns the yard we are on has two kids and one loves magic and has rode him ect

well she wants to take him to shows but isnt dedicated to the taking care of them side :2445: so i have told her if you dont groom him,ride him, muck him out ect hes going no where :nhy: .

we gave her a lesson a cupple months back and she couldnt even mount from the ground shes soooo unfit for a kid at her age i was bouncing on and off my ponys doing PC games ect where you have them at a gallop and you leap on and off :2445:

she asked were mag was tonight i said just out in the field for a stretch mitra said why u want to ride, she said no just would have said hi it then started raining and she couldnt possibly be out in it :san42:

my cousons kids are all the same do f all except play computer games, at that age i was never in the house. i was mucking out 4 stables by the time i was 7yr old taking care of my own pony who we got as a foal helping out at shows. my sis got done for leaving me all day as her grrom with the horses i was only about 8 :san42:

your right there Fazza i worked like shit just to get a 1/2 ride at the stables, grooming them was a bonus too, i used to love it. you can bond while grooming them.
when i bought the kids their first pony i made sure they worked b4 they went anywhere near her to ride, if she wasnt properley groomed feet picked etc and a clean stable go back into she wasnt going anywhere,

needless to say the pony was led on a walk more times than she was ridden :san42: even them days my kids were lazy gits.. :san42: and i still worked like shit

youre not wrong there faz, everything is handed to them on a plate .... its too easy....

nor mine :2445: and the amount these kids spend watching tv or playing vid games is mad
