When Joe was born, we were officially discharged but were told to wait for something before we left. After waiting for about 30 mins we just walked out with Joe and not one person stopped us!!!! | |

| Thats scary. Chloe was born in Burton and they were really keen. Checked us out and came out to the car with us and the nurse insisted on carrying Chloe. Is there a reason why the nurse carries the baby out? They did it with my sister too. | |

| They carried Adam too, apparently it due to them still being liable for the baby until you actually leave (they dont trust us to walk through a hospital with a baby, in other words).
It was a bit scary actually, walking out with Joe, anyone could do that.... | |
