| Hi everyone, I have been reading web sites and groups all wk on the barf diet/ raw food, I am thinking about putting all of mine on this but i have been totally confused with reading so many bloomin sites!!! Is barf/raw the same thing if not what is the difference the only thing i do know it has something to do with bones (i think) and can you feed a combination of both? I am looking into buying a chest freezer to store the food in so i can buy in bulk, but where do i start? whats the best way to introduce them to this diet and how much do you give them? Sorry for so many questions but head is buzzing now!!! also does anyone know anywhere in Edinburgh that suppies delivers this type of food or is pets @ home best to buy from? I have loads more questions as well. What do you all think of the diet and whats the benefits of this? Thanks Lorz x | |

| ur local abbatior is a good place to start. we use the one in cumbernauld . they do dog mince at 70p per kilo (cooked)u can also buy it raw if u want and u can have as much bones as u like. ther is a firm in Dundee that delivers tripe etc (better quality than PAH)would have to try get u number, we get it along with other breeders in area so they only delivery to the area once | |

| I have tried the girls on RAW and they loved it. Like you i have never got my head round it properly and I always forgot to defrost the stuff in time. I still give my lot chicken wings, you could always start by introducing your gang with chicken wings. With regards to tripe etc, I used to get blocks of the stuff from a small local pet store but I do know that Landywoods deliver but not sure in your area - here is the link - http://www.landywoods.co.uk/ | |
