I've made a decision!!

Something happened today which has given me a fright. A friend at work had a heart attack at work yesterday and is on ECU. I only found out this morning. Kim and I are about the same weight, the only difference between us is that she also smokes and I dont. She is only 46
Starting Monday I am going on a healthy eating plan and excercise. I dont eat healthily I know, what little I do eat is usually sweet or crap, I miss meals and snack on junk and I drink far too much cappuccino. Losing weight is very hard for me as I have a lymphatic problem but I would love 3 stone off before Christmas this year.

So I thought what could give me an incentive.......I have decided to go on a sponsored slim and hopefully raise money for the dogs trust, or a dog rescue.

altho you wanna lose weight hun dont deprive yourself of certain foods ect im a health freak and due to my conditions have seen many dietitions so have been on many diets lol i find the GI the best to keep blood sugers leval and ohhh exercise can be fun lol

im getting a friend of mine in to shape we started today with a good walk with the dogs was a very funny day :love:

That is so true.. The best way to look at it is not a diet but a change of lifestyle.. If you deprive yourself.. your body will think it is in a dire situation and will start storing sugar and protein as fat and you will actually gain weight.. Just take it nice and easy and make sure you don't do any of that crash dieting crap.. :love:
