do any of you use supplements for their dogs, i just use wheatgerm oil for their coats, when susie was alive :cwyy: she had codliver oil, evening primrose oil, garlic and fungreek and mixed veg tablets,

Mine have cod liver oil and glucosamine every day. supplements 729386

I just give Marley tuna in sunflower oil, never thought about giving him supplements, maybe I should supplements 729386

i give superflex which has it all in for joints and muscles ect, i use this as a preventative for my dogs mainly the workers and i feed garlic. they get a lot of olis ect in their feeds too

if they are on a good diet hun it shouldnt matter too much but giving things for thier joint i think is important superflex has MSN,glucosamine, chondrotin *sp* ect ect in so helps a lot

what do you give now

just raw chicken wings/ legs and minced beef/lamb/chicken with cod liver oil

the oli will help their joints and coat so thats good, maybe add glucosamine too but my vet said no point getting the cheap stuff as it doesnt work it has to be the good stuff. my mam gets very expensive ones from the doc so i used to give them to the dogs lol

also MSN is good too. i have also given red cell to my dogs. dog fighters use it a lot

no tablet form genrally i got them. but i find MSM is just as good if not better to be honest

thats why i give them the dogs bev as our chippy who is arthritic does amazing on MSM nothing eles works for him

i get mine from NAF hun i get my superflex from there too its Natural Animal Feeds
