Day 8 of our Hols was 1 and3/4 hour journey to Glen affric to the Dog Falls. A good test to check out my theory about Marley on the lead in the back of the car. Well for almost all of the journey he whinged and whined but didnt pace which is a bonus as the pacing seems the whip him up into a frenzy! It was a beautiful morning when we left chilly though with a very Autumnal feel.
It was uphill all the way
every corner you turned was another climb!
A lovely forest walk though
whats that i spied through the trees?? That big yellow thing in the sky!!
having a rest..........anyone got any oxygen??
Off we go again
Kala decided she wanted to be with her mammy
come on you two pull the old girl up!!
Glen Affric viewpoint
stunning view
Knackered!!
No doubt his will be better than mine!
Some views along the way heading to Dog Falls
Jackets undone its getting warmer
Dog Falls not quite as dramatic as The falls of Foyer but still pretty
Then it was jacket off what a hot afternoon!
and another uphill climb
Phew on the level and near the car park
and another well deserved picnic!
on the way back I put the lead onto Marley again. He was was as good as gold not a whimper he sat and looked out of the window or lay down possibly with all the exercise.
