| Glad to hear shes on the mend it is the same condition as Keira had I didnt complain about it at the time especially as they looked after Keira very well when she was really ill they let me take her in daily for her antibiotic injections even on the Sunday when they werent normally open (she was so poorly she couldnt take tablets) whether this is because they knew they were to blame i dont know what i do know is it was one of the senior vets who is an excellent and very well respected vet that carried the operation out I can remember when it was diagnosed the two younger vets looked quite shocked when they realised who had carried her spey out I believe its caused by some of the tissue being left in when it shouldnt then it gets infected for whatever reason In Keiras case it was a good 4 or 5 months after her spey I still dont know whether i would blame the vet without knowing all the facts on the surgery Maybe it might be worth asking to speak to the vet to question why it happened and if the original spey was done properly tell him you have been told this surgery is normally needed if the initial spey wasnt done properly and you would like his thoughts on the matter He may wave the fee if he thinks you might take the matter further Atleast you should get the facts and you wont have to fall out with the vet Personally it depends how highly you rate your vet and whether you feel agrieved enough to change vets Sometimes medical emergencies arise for no apparant reason Lets hope Storm makes a great recovery like Keira did she was up running around like a crazy loon again in no time | |

| What has your new vet said regarding the cause ask them if they think you have a case that needs to be answered Is it a problem that happens due to negligence in their opinion or could there be other factors that could of caused it They may choose to refrain from giving an opinion because they dont want to get involved but its worth asking to try get a better picture | |

| if your vet is 100% sure it was the spaying that caused the problem then write to the rcvs and tell them exactly whats happened , but vets do stick together lorz , i know that through what happened to bonnie , but good luck what ever you decide | |

| Storm is being really grumpy with dusk and Zara growling when they walk past or are near her, bit concerned dusk isn't doing anything just walking past and trying to be near her I know she's been through a lot but don't know why she is being so bad. Wonder if she isn't feeling to good but isn't showing me.... | |
