STORM UPDATE FROM LORZ

lorz just text me to update you all about storm, the vet removed her uterus cervix and part of her vagina, she has a partial colonic tortion,she is doing well on pain killers and the vet will update lorz in the morning,

awwww bless her Poor Storm if you text/speak to Lorz Sue can you let her know Im thinking about her and Storm

OMG that sounds terrible Poor Storm and poor Lorz

Hopefully she will be ok and recover quickly

Off to bed now been out for a meal with Marc and my dad it was dad's birthday today i'm shattered didnt really sleep last night.

Hi guys right like Sue told you all she has had her cervix, uterus and part of her vagina removed, her uterus hadnt ruptured which is what they were worried about but they did notice that she has a partial colonic torsion they are not sure if this was becase her uterus was full of fluid and enlarged and this made it happen so they are not sure if it will sort itself out now that everything has been removed. Obviously i have to keep an eye on that and if she gets constipated again get back in touch with the vets regarding this. They have sent tissue away to get tested to see if it is ovarian tissue or what it was, the previous night Storm decided she didnt want the tube/needle in her and pulled it out at 1am lol thats my girl!!!

She has had a restful night but the nurse says she is just whining think she is just desperate to get back home to you, they dont want me to go in and see her as that will just upset her with me leaving her again and me they arent at the mometn going to let her home today as she still hasnt passed a stool so they need her to do that before they will let me take her home so they said hopefully get her home tomorrow (fingers crossed) she ate her tea last night and ate breakie this morning.

Going to go to pets @ home after work and buy her a nice toy and a new blanket..... I slept last night just glad the op is over and she is on the road to recovery!! I think i have covered everything.

Great news lorz hope everything continues to improve and there are no further complications Its great that she is eating must be on the road to recovery bless her. Pleased you managed to sleep too you must be shattered. Hope storm comes home with you tmoz .

GETTING HER HOME THIS AFTERNOON TO COLLECT HER ABOUT 3.30-4PM sorry for shouting just so so so so excited!!!!!!

She has had another pain injection this morning but they are really pleased with her and she is eating........YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY
