| Oh, I just remembered, we went training on Sunday, went ok, she was a nuisance but she enjoyed it and we had a breakthrough. Mimi has never willingly lay down on command, I've always had to wrestle her down :2445: But after a few times on Sunday of forcing her, she will now lie down when I tell her to, admittedly, she does make a GSD noise very loudly in the process :2445: :2445: Anyway, remember the little, nice lady with Saxon? She seemed to find him a handful. Well, he wasnt impressed with Mimi and lunged at her snarling three times. The second time she had to leave the field cos he caught her hand and cut it quite badly and she was bleeding :san41: It was quite scary So if you go back, watch out for Saxon, hes still a livewire. There were loads that were all going for each other too, not sure if I want to go back or not now :nhy: | |

| i was going to ask you about saxon lol..... so hes still the same then... such a shame, hes a beautiful dog, but i think we know the outcome of him in the future  he took a dislike to mimi before didnt he, but we thought its cos she was due in season! ... im not so sure him and fred will get on anymore then lol.... i cant believe shes not made any progress with him, he used to mouth her a year ago, you would think she would have sorted that out by now... she used to make me lagh bless her.. is that woman there with zeus, he was dog agressive and a rescue, she borrowed freds halti one session... glad mimi learnt something hun | |

| We said the same about Saxon too, she asked me once how to stop him biting her when she fastened him in the car, she was covered in scars then. It is a shame, they are obviously not the right match are they? I think shes too "nice" and he takes the pee. Yeah, he didnt like Mimi, I forgot about that. Mimi, bless, didnt react at all other than leisurely stepping backwards out his way  I didnt recognize many there but it was packed. Car park was double parked. I dont think Zeus was there but I'm not sure. They got Kathryn from GSDUK training our class cos there was so many there, she was ok Martin was....Martin :2445: :2445: | |

| oh yea i forgot about martin :2445: .. we were set to go this weekend too, but the OH said it wasnt worth it what with my back and whatnot lol.... im not too fussed about the training tbh i just need to get fred out there and socialising .... its a shame you cant take other dogs too, i wonder why its only gsd's you would think in todays current climate they would welcome any dog, it means more money :2431: | |

| this is it hun, and most 6 weeks courses cost between 50 and 60 quid..and what if you cant make it one week, do you get your money back???... thats why elvaston is so good, the convenience did you have to re-join or did you just join in and explain its been a while since you last went, im dreading seeing saxons owner now, cos im likely to tell her that the need professional help before the dog beyond help and the inevitable happens to him | |

| I got it free this week but I did get an email and a letter at the start of year saying I needed to join again. I think its a fiver a year so will join again if I go back. Simple form and vac card is needed though I hope someone from that club have told her the same Shelley, its not right if they havent. She does need help Saxon is going to seriously injure someone one day, probably her but could be anyone in his way to get at the next dog he doesnt like, or even, just because he can | |

| ahh right so i will have to join again then, good job you reminded me about the vac card i wouldnt have thought to take that with me .... i bet no one has told her about saxon needing professional help, look how they scoffed at me for taking fred to mascani .... i shall speak out about saxon if i think its going to cause friction between him and fred lol... im not too bothered about him and fred having a go at each other i can control fred, i dont think she would be able to control saxon in the same way though :nhy: .. it would be interesting to see how the tainers handled a dog fight though and if they were competent enough | |

| She had him on a halti so pulled him away quickly enough, hence why she got bitten, although I'm not sure he actually bit her, more caught her hand with his teeth Last year Martin embarrassed her about it saying "You want to sort that dog out cos those scars will get worse as he gets bigger" in front of everyone, not helpful at all so I doubt they have helped. There was a woman there with a rescue, not a huge dog either, but he was muzzled cos he hates dogs and kept lunging too. Martin took him for a bit but he couldnt manage him well at all. His answer was to harshly shout "NO" and jerk the dog about alot. Not what I would have done but seems to be his answer to every dog that doesnt do what he wants. There were loads of aggressive dogs there, all you could hear was dogs going for each other in the middle group. We were fine in ours other than Saxon but they were all younger dogs. | |

| i remember that being said to her, but wasnt it the older guy who said that he used to roll his eyes at her lol lol... im still shocked that this is still a problem for her..... if i remember rightly saxon was a big lad too ... ever likely shes had to put a halti on him, he never had one on him when i went.. hmmm im not so sure if i should take fred if theres lots of agressive dogs there,i dont think this is what fred needs to be mixing with, hes slowly getting better, i dont want him picking it up from the dogs at training.. if you kwim i think i shall come for a nosey first see what its like before i throw him amongst it all lol | |

| I'm still undecided. I dont really want to be in that environment really, even though I think Mimi would be fine but it did bore me and her a bit. I'll see on Sunday if I can be arsed or not, might just go and have a walk instead | |

| after yesterdays walk i dont know what to do now? i might just take him and sit on the edge of it all, he may get used to the dogs being close by without him being amongst it all .. i dont blame you bev tbh bev, if nicos fine with other dogs now, it would be foolish to jeopardise this oh what to do what to do... | |

| All the dogs in the first group, besides Saxon, were fine, but they were all young dogs. You should be fine in that group unless another aggressive dog turns up and you avoid Saxon unless hes ok with Fred anyway.
What isnt so good though, you can hear all the dogs in the next group, in the middle of the field near us going for each other alot. It was quite noisy, that class is full of unstable dogs. I think most of them are rescues.
Let me know if you go or not, we might go just for a walk instead. Fred can have a sniff at these if we do. I'm not letting them offlead though, they run upto everyone and people dont like it so I'm keeping them on leads. | |
