| Yesterday I exchanged contracts for the sale of my mums house! I,m glad its done and dusted, I dont have too heat the house or pay council tax on it....yet, I feel empty and a bit lost.Mum lived all of her life there apart from her first 5 years and my brother and I were born in the front bedroom.I cried when I closed the door for the final time, I feel just weird, I could have bought my brothers half, the house its a big 3 bedroomed semi with a garden the size of a football field, but I just didn't want to live there.Anyway, its done now, no going back, my mums first anniversary is on the 25th, funny how things have gone, nearly exactly a year. Still miss her terribly, always will | |
