from a two hour interview for a part time job

Im knackered it was sooooo hot
It was one of those interviews where you had to go into groups and do different tasks
Then there was a formal interview at the end

i did ok
Out of 2000 applications they were interviewing 160 people for about 50 jobs

They rang to offer me the job today

I was sure id lost it because they called last Wed or Thursday when i was out but didnt leave a message or ring back i assumed theyd given it to someone else but the manager rang this afternoon Ive got to start my training at Stafford next week which is great as i know where that is and its only a few miles from where my mum is so i can pop in and see her after work Gotta do 3 days at Stafford and 2 days induction at Telford Ive also got to go over and see the manager to get all the paperwork and welcome pack etc from Wellington on Friday
Havent worked a whole week in ages im gonna be knackered Its only pt but perfect for me
I wasnt that fussed if i didnt get it but im looking forward to it now

I bet you're gonna miss the dogs

Ive got 3 full weeks to do then it will only be 12 hours a week after that so i will have plenty of time with the dogs
I only want a part time job so the dogs arent left on their own all day
Luckily oh is on nights for a few weeks so the dogs wont be lonely

I bet it I'll be nice to get back out into the real world Hun and make some new friends
