NEED HELP WITH RORY PLEASE

can you help please guys, because of an idiot vet wrestling Rory to the floor and getting 2 nurses to pin him down while they examined his feet, Rory wont let anyone near him to cut his claws.

he is a gentle giant and will let me do anything else to him but not this. as a youngster he wore them down fine but the last two times he had to be sedated by the vet to have them cut. he acts very badly to sedation, it knocks him for 6 and the first time the vet was panicking because he wouldn't come round. the last time I took him to an different vet, they sedated him, but just to the point of drowsy and not really knowing what was going on around him.

promblem is it costs me £80 a time, as you know I have 7 dogs and seem top have been paying out an awful lot of money to the vet lately. can anyone think of any way I can get to do his claws myself, he is just so sacared, I do all the other dogs myself no problem.

try asking him for his paw , if he gives it just massage it then give him a treat until he thinks he gets a treat everytime , do it slow and praise him all the time, when you get the grinder don't try to do anything just massage his paw with it like you would your hand until he gets comfy with and getting loads of treats , hope that makes sense NEED HELP WITH RORY PLEASE 300576
