marley has lost 1.5kgs in a week since coming off his tablets last week. I was so proud of my big lad though who sat perfectly still while neil shaved fur and took blood from his neck. hes being tested for EPI SIBO(?) and Vitamin B12 deficiency we should find the results out next friday marley update 805515

Marleys blood test shows he is low on vitamin b12 the range for enzyme is 5-50 Marley is at 6.5 so isnt producing much but not quite EPI yet He does have SIBO and will be on medication for the rest of his life, His blood will be tested in 3 months time to see if his enzyme production has gone lower than 6.5 or stayed the same. I feel happy that at least we know what we are dealing with

Marleys update is that he has enzyme level has dropped to 5.5 just 0.5 away from defo EPI marley update 743284

but so close to it that Neil has recommended that Marley start a 4 week trial of enzyme supplement 2 tablets a day marley update 743284

He still has to take his 8 tablets a day for SIBO and Neil has said he will be on those for the rest of his life.
