Thanks :love: I have a severe chest infection which is affecting my breathing. My gp has given me 500mg antibiotics which I have to take 4 times a day and I have been told I have to rest. I told him about my job,that theres no one to cover when Im off and when Im ill I still go in and sort things out and then come home and he was really annoyed as he said its doing me no good as I cant recover doing that. He wanted to put me on the sick for 2 weeks, I said 1 week and see how I go but I have promised him if Im not 100 per cent I will go back for the extra week. My doctor wont give out sick notes easily so I was gobsmacked, but I am going to do as Im told and rest.

Good!.... Hopefully you will be better soon. It really does no good to carry on as normal when you are ill. You need to rest and take care of yourself so you can get well. :love:

:shutittt: I really hope you will be true to yourself and the doctor, and if you are not feeling 100% then you will stay on the sick for the other week Jude, or you will never fully recover and may find yourself feeling awful again shortly.

But honestly hun, you do need to put yourself 1st for once and get yourself right this time :love: :love:

i will Sandra and this also might give my boss the kick she needs to get someone trained up to cover for me when Im on holiday or ill. I've only been asking for about 2 years. The problem is she knows how consciencious I am and have struggled in the past but I just havent the strength at the moment.

That's it Jude you have and do so much it's not a priority for them to train someone, isn't it unfortunate, that people who are not that good for whatever reason seem to get the time and help, whilst loyal, hardworking people are left to it :Angry:
