Our Hols part 5

This was our favourite beach, the drive down had the most beautiful scenery taking in west Loch Tarbert, The isles of Jura, Islay and Gigha and also when it was clear we could see Northern Ireland
which you can make out on the last few photos
This is the beautiful machrihanish Bay, 25 miles from the cottage but well worth the drive we went quite a few times and parked up at Westport. Miles of golden sand and practically deserted!

Absolutely fantastic no wonder you didn't want to come home. My hubby would of been wanting to visit Islay (he loves the whiskey from there ) but I think he'd of been torn with the beaches and scenery. What a place glad you enjoyed yourselves so much

I wouldnt want to come home with being in a beautiful place like that either.

your husband would love it 34 distilleries in the area! Ed was depressed as he is a malt whiskey lover but i dont drive Ed bought a bottle from the small distillery in campletown

He loves his single malts Ardbeg and Lagavuln are his real favs Reckon he'd be wanting to visit the distilleries tho I'd be on me own wi dog(s)
