How did your viewing go yesterday?

waste of time really Bren they wanted our house but didnt want to pay the 3% stamp duty! so they offered us 250K which is 15K less than the asking price but the estate agent thinks their limit was 250k anyway!
but theres a couple coming up from Dover to view tomorrow

Atleast you had an offer so thats encouraging

What about the house you want would they consider a lower offer

Problem with that price range is not many people will offer over 250K

Ours is on for 260K but we will accept 250 if i can get the other one for the same

We should of had a viewing today but they cancelled at the last minute after offering on something else Spent all day tidying aswell we were well pissed off

Disappointing over the viewing yesterday jude but for the other viewing

I doubt the people who own the bungalow we like will drop by 10 to 15k. The 3bedroom properties are up for sale from £235 to £250 so I really want £260 at least, im in no hurry to move to be honest if its meant to be it will happen!!

That would really pee me off Bren people making appts for viewings and then cancelling after you have spent all day cleaning!!

Our Estate agent does all accompanied viewings so I can get the dogs out of the way but I spend all day going around wiping wet nose marks off the windows doors etc!!

I bet the owner of the house you want will expect to be knocked down by 10K Most people in that price bracket do Have a word with the agent and enquire what sort of offer might they accept before disregarding any offers you get Peoples circumstances make a difference aswell Take our property if we accept an offer of 250K we will actually lose money on what we ve paid and spent on the house but if it enables us to get the house we want then we will go for it Obviously im not stupid enough to actually lose money what i mean is we wont have as much equity in the property as when we bought it Dont know what the market is like by you but its really slow by us so nobody is getting offers anywhere near the asking price

The viewing went well they loved the house but thought the kitchen was too small for them. which is fair comment cos its not huge. theres a big advert in our local paper this weekend so hopefully we might get some more viewings next week
