No, I don't think I did learn anything that we don't learn when we watch his TV shows


His examples with dogs on stage were....

A over excited Rottie, that pulled on leash and acted a turd when meeting dogs he showed her how to put the leash up high on his neck and keep calm and not strain the leash and introduced it to some other dogs then stuck him on the treadmill.

A puppy came on and he went through a few things with that.

A calm dog came on and he showed how to let it smell you, no touch,talk or eye contact.

A JRT came on went through doors etc.

Had several people come up on stage to do some demo's with

At the end we didn't have the dog dancer, we had an army bloke who rescued some dogs from Afghanastan(sp)

We had a clip from South park the same as you and the timing was the same as you had described also the set seemed to be the same

Like you said he was really funny and a great night was had by all four of us I am well chuffed we went it was a real tidy show

We had a PAT dog on as well, forgot about that, with 2 women, lovely cocker, they just talked to him for a min or two

You could buy a mug for £7, pink or black caps and T shirts, his DVD's, the whole set was £130

We couldn't get near the stall the crowds were so long

But I just remembered Shelley, when I came back from having a fag in the break, I saw a woman buying the poster of the show on the small boards, the steward was rolling it up for her the lady gave her £5 and the steward said come with me for you to put it in the charity box so you know it's definately gone in seemed the best bargain there

You may have to ask if you could donate a £5 to charity for it, I would of if I had known

Don't think anyone realises you can do that tbh I was just passing and saw it going on, it was in the 8 40pm interval

are the queues just as bad in the interval ... do they serve food and drink, or shall i need to make a pack up

The queues are all through, awful, people were missing parts of the show to try and buy stuff, they had food and drink but it will take you forever to buy it, I couldn't be arsed but really wanted a coffee, I just had some pepsi off my daughter every now and then and she took sweets so we survived

best to I think, we had a meal before going so we didn't need food but we didn't get a drink to go in with but my daughter did, best thing to do

i always get hungry at venues like that.... :2431: ... i'll fill my back pack full of goodies

Just be careful because some venues wont let you take food and drink in they bag searched me on the way in at the NIA were i saw him
Dont always do it tho because thats where i saw the Stereophonics a few nights later and they werent bag searching then

Best time to get stuff was before he came on even altho it was packed
alot of people tried buying stuff at the break but ended up missing part of the show and alot of the smaller ladies size T Shirts were sold out

Did they have the same video for aggressive dogs and did he say much on the subject

Yes Bren it was the a clip from one of his shows the show was about a woman who rescued several small dogs, one was a nasty little sod, she held it tight when it got nasty. All he said on the subject was, 'did you see what she was doing bla bla'

Susie the woman who called me to cancel Mickey said the demo was cancelled but he would still be talking about the subject and would be able to say how to deal with onlead aggression
This being quite a common problem you would of thought they would of had alot more time on this topic

Your right Bren, I would have preffered to have him talk more about social intregation of dogs, all types, especially aggression I know they prob felt they needed to break the show up a bit by putting a bit of Pat dogs in etc but I paid to see and listen to him not the other bits, Oh well never mind, I still enjoyed the show
