Any one heard on Mickey

Time's getting on now, anyone heard from Bren how Mickey is

Was wondering the same thing hun.

Panic over Mickey is ok and home

Im £160 lighter and Mickey is zonked out but everything is ok

The vet xrayed his hips and knee joints and said they are ok even took me over to the xray dept and showed me them

He thinks Mickey has a bad sprain and has prescribed rimadyl for a week

I panicked when i took him in this morning because the kennel nurse who i know said she didnt realise it was Mickey having the TTA surgery
I said he wasnt definately having it unless they found something on the xrays She told me they had booked the slot and that the top vet was going to be doing it if required I told her to make sure they rang me if they were going to operate
Well i waited all day worrying my stomach has been churning all day and the loo has never seen so much action ive been living on my nerves all day
Anyway i found out at 3.30 that he hadnt had an op and that the vet would like me to go over to discuss his xrays
I was relieved but then started worrying about what the xrays were gonna show

Well they showed his hips and knee joints are all good
I got them to do a blood test aswell just incase but thats fine aswell

Ive come to the conclusion this dog is a wuss I can see why the vet thought it was his cruciate the way he squealed and growled when being examined

Hes lying here doped up feeling sorry for himself now Its a shame
Hes just come over for a cuddle Im sure he knows im typing something about him

Im just so glad hes back and ok Im sure by tomorrow he will be back to his naughty self and i ll be on here moaning about him

Phew, so glad he is gonna be fine Bren been thinking of him all day

Had to laugh at you saying he is a wuss though so is Bryn, a big cry baby but that's all parts of their beautiful personality that we love

Thanks Hes obviouly still in pain he keeps whining and is still not putting all his weight on the leg but hopefully he will be better once the rimadyl starts to kick in they probably manipulated it quite a bit when he was under sedation so its sore now

Hes had half a tin of the wet food they give you at the vets whenever they have an op Keira the little madam sulked and refused to eat her dinner she wanted the same as Mickey and was hovering over him thinking about stealing it she is a greedy little cow

Hes still a bit wobbly aswell the little love ive never seen him so quiet

Vet wants to check him over again in 2 weeks to make sure sprain is sorted

what a relief Bren. Hopefully Mickey will be back to his normal self in no time

Im hoping so Shelley Will see how the leg is but tbh its so much better than it was yesterday so hopefully by Saturday he will be ok

Dont really want to miss any sessions before the test if i can help it

If not i may bring Keira over instead
