| the show size for a fantail was 10cm but remember the tail does not count in the size, as you can see from above a common gold fish grows to 20cm and requires a large tank or pond not a goldfish bowl like many are kept in. | |

| when we moved the lounge around yesterday, we had to half empty the tank before we could move it...and we found a dead guppy later that day, he looked a bit battered tbh, so not sure what happened to him :2431: | |

| i got my dates wrong on an earlier post it was 1977 i got these and not 79 . as you can see much like in dog shows , class winner, group winner ,best in show. look at the entries on best in show ticket, this is for single fish so the pairs breeder teams plants and other classes are not counted in this entry so actual show entry may have been closer to 500 | |

| shelley always fully empty tank before moving as anything left will stress the silicon seal if not a full moulded aqarium you may not notice any damage at 1st but check silicon at base of tank if you see what looks like air bubbles in seal it means it has been stressed as this is 1st sign tank is about to start leaking :2431: | |
