Well we had a shock because it was test day Todays Training 989279

Mickey went for his silver and failed Todays Training 165548 not that i was expecting him to pass as he only went to three training sessions On a good note he passed most of the tests but failed miserably on the offlead stay Todays Training 165548
The little git decided he wanted to play as usual and did a runner Todays Training 247525 Todays Training 247525 Todays Training 247525 only stopping to stick his bum in the air and wag his tail Todays Training 398987 Then run off again Todays Training 413803 Todays Training 40512 these smillies are so like him
He really is a frustrated little puppy Todays Training 170113 who just wants to have fun Todays Training 610864
Ive got to work on the offlead stay and recall before the next course that starts in January Todays Training 759733 Todays Training 759733 Todays Training 759733

Shelley was in a different group this week so i will let her post about how Fred got on this week Todays Training 910222

It gets you used to the test aswell Todays Training 910222
I just cant ever imagine passing because he is such a livewire and will not do a stay when there are other dogs about Todays Training 981857 he gets all excited constantly wanting to play especially when he sees another dog go for a run about Todays Training 981857
There was a lab in our group that ran around the field like a loon every time it was offlead She was supposed to be going for her gold aswell Todays Training 658515

i had to stifle a giggle when i saw he had done a runner, he was bounding about like an overgrown pup wanting to play Todays Training 398987 but he never ran far away!!!... ive noticed in a short time how he doesnt bother with other dogs so much as he did the first week he was there.... and when we were chatting at the start.... he never bothered with fred at all Todays Training 583730

i think youre doing a great job bren.... he never had puppyhood with his previous owners, but hes certainly getting it now lol.... he will be okay hun.... Todays Training 805515

Honestly Bren. For the first couple of weeks he will be a waste of space. He always is after a break. Its my own fault. I leave home at 6.45am every day & the earliest I am home is 6.15pm so of course its dark & I cant train the same. Plus I've been spending a lot of time with Kia, our lodger, who is very high maintenance

(Kia is a dog btw! Todays Training 457589 )

Todays Training 732260 I did wonder about Kia Todays Training 41621

Mickey is brilliant at home but put him on Zeps field with all the other dogs and distracting smells and he just does his own thing Todays Training 517699
He gets over excited and just wants to play upTodays Training 413803 Hes got the attention span of a gnat aswell Todays Training 981857

Oh well thats what we go for to train the little sods Todays Training 910222

I bet i get a showing up before you do Todays Training 457589

Mickey sounds very like Nico, but more so. Nico is gold, no, platinum standard when he's on his own but the excitement of all those other dogs is sometimes just too much for him.

I know though that he just needs consistent & regular handling, something he doesnt always get but thats not his fault

They are male Todays Training 517699 so say no more Todays Training 457589 Smell a bitch and their brains evaporate Todays Training 658515

I know what you mean tho about the training We find it hard doing the training outside when we have both dogs There is never enough time in the day to take them out seperately Todays Training 583730 and its more beneficial for them to get a long walk and run about offlead
Our garden is no good for training in Todays Training 583730 the lawn is a big muddy mess and the patio area isnt really big enough either Todays Training 165548
