She IS Pregnant

our vet cant do it we went into glasgow as xena was mated before last litter, with 2 good ties and went past her date so we got her scanned just in case, she went through all the symptoms extra food weight and teats dropped she even started to make her bed in whelping box.
Because she missed thats the only reason we tried again. the vet said scan should be 5 or 6th week
Xena does not like vets but she stood ok to be scanned

Oh you got me worried now,she is showing all the signs but maybe she isnt in pup
after all,i'm just going on what she was like the last time and she is showing all

i know some ppl who breed horses have used huaman pregnency tests b4 and say they are acurite maybe work for her? i dunno like as i dont breed lol

No fazz it wouldnt work,they have to be scanned,dont know why i'm so
bothered,i didnt get her scanned last time.Maybe its better not to know
cos then its more exciting.

we were the same jan no problems with 1st litter and all same symptons as before we only got worried when she went past her dates just incase there was just a single pup which can be worse as a single pup can come up to 2weeks late and the vet said it would not be in good health and could cause the bitch some problems.
We did not get her scanned with the last litter as she went on her date.
It can be quite common to have a phantom after they have had a litter.
But just let nature take its course im sure everything will be ok.
We have mated her 4 times the 1st was slipped ties , the other 3 were all good ties but only the 2 went ok, she was an easy bitch to watch as on all season she stood on the 11th & 13th days,and the last tlme was even easier as AXLE started to howl when she was ready

you dont actually know until it happens.She is a very strong minded bitch and
i cant see that she would have stood for the dog if she wasnt ready.The owners
of the stud dog said that he knows when she is ready and he wont mount her
untill she is,oh and apparantly he has never missed but well they say theres a
first time for everything,just have to keep fingers crossed and wait and see.

ask your vet for her to be xrayed they normally do it round sixth week as bones have formed they get an accurate count then too

I wouldn't be able to tell if she was or wasn't hun, but i do cross all my body parts that can physically be crossed for you that she is :love:

Just looked at them again Jan, the last pic of her has got something about it to make you think she maybe Ohh I don't know lol, if she is, it suits her coz she is looking really healthy hun.

Pregnancy does suit her,she looked really well last time,even after she had
the pups everybody said you would never think that she had just gave birth. :love:

You would of thought Tilly would of definately shown, having 9 pups coz she is a small girl
