| Uneducated? I hardly think he could have risen to the post of President of the most powerful state in the world without a few days in front of a blackboard. I confess I didn't read all the article. It rambled a little too much for my liking BUT this thread has raised a number of issues as I see it. Credit is rarely, if ever, given for something called 'freedom of speech'. I wonder if I could go to Iran and launch a personal attack on the head of the country? I'm thinking, probably not. It is easy to say now that, as no WMD were found, the war was never about that. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! And finally I find it extremely distasteful that by attacking the war effort people are belittling the ultimate sacrifice made by our armed forces. If Iran is so fantastic why do so many Iranians chose to live here? Just a thought | |

| Really?
Not going any further with this. I'm cross with myself for posting in it really. This is a dog forum and not a place for politics.
This article was written to discredit Bush directly and thereby America indirectly. People are so quick to criticise that country, conveniently forgetting that they are probably the most generous nation in the world.
I'm not saying Bush didn't make mistakes. He did. But how was he a great deal worse than most of the world leaders today? He was simply more high profile (and more accountable!)
And that's me done because I could go on for some time to come!

| Tonight is the first time I've seen this thread.
If you are going to post an article like this Farah you really need to be prepared for someone to disagree with you instead of assuming I am making a personal attack!
I am not quite sure what you mean by people 'having issues' with you? If, as you say, everybody has issues with you does that possibly suggest that you may have given them cause?
