| Had to laugh today. Chloe is riding a horse her weekend boss has in for schooling. He's not good on the road (he has been known to bolt) & his owner is a bit frightened of him, so is her groom. Well Chloe took him out today & he was behaving beautifully until two young lads came zooming up towards her on scooters (or hairdryers as Chloe described them!) They didnt slow down & Max was terrified. As they went past he spun round & bolted down the road behind them. Chloe couldnt turn him as you would normally do as the road surface was too slippery. Anyway eventually she managed to pull him up safely, turned him round again & carried on her way. Ten minutes later one of the scooters re-appeared & drove towards her. This time it slowed right down & then stopped alongside her. Chloe was just about to fill the peaceful country air with expletives when the young lad said 'I'm really really sorry. I saw him spin round & then I thought you were chasing me & I was too scared to stop!!' He still got a bollocking but nowhere near as bad as it might have been. | |
