on friday i saw.................

a tiny little baby rottie..... he was with his owner outside asda..... he was absolutely gorgeous, ive never seen one so young and tiny.... i wanted to pick him up and run away with him, the owner though i was mad .... i know i shouldnt go by looks, but im sorely tempted to make my next dog a rottie, from the things paula has said, and seeing this little lad.... its swaying me .... he was soooooooooooooo gorgeous, and would have looked lovely with fred

I love Rotties too Shelley, If I was to get a short haired dog it would be a rottie they are gorgeous pups

he really melted my heart jude.... ive always admired them from afar.... but seeing this little lad has made me think....ive thought about him all weekend lol

I've never been a massive Rottie fan, nothing against them, I just didnt even contemplate having one before but I have to say, I would have another whereas I cant say that for the other two :nhy: Too many health probs with both breeds and Maggie is a real character and a great dog but shes too lazy for me Although I do love the GSD and the Bullmastiff, I think I'm a converted Rottweiler person now!!!

I have been like Paula, always admired a well bred and good natured Rotti but never had the yearning to own one, though there is a fab bitch around here, not so well bred but her temperament is second to none

ive never had the yearning to own one until i met that little chap outside asda ... and now im thinking of it, i seem to see them everywhere lol....

He's one on halloween!!! Big enough to walk to yours now so we'll have a meet up, might just bring him on his own, not sure yet!!!

:2445: :2445: :2445: Mags is a bitch, everyone always wants to stroke her but she really doesnt like strangers. She barks at anyone who pays attention to her esp if they use high pitched noises. She would happily ignore them whereas the other two love people but they always like Maggie

Mimi and Manley can go anywhere and will be good

always loved rotts trained a LOT of them and fallen in love a good friend of mine has owned them for yrs wen i first met them they had the best bitch i have ever seen very small and lovely she passed away and they have a stunning male now but they do a lot with them training wise.

only bad thing id say about rotts and the reason so many ppl get attacked by them is they dont react like some dogs GSD's for example who are gobby and let you know they are going to attack you rotts just freeze for half a second then strike, so to some ppl there was no warning. rostams the same really.

Yeah, there was one on Cesar once who gave hardly any warning before he went to snap at a child, he just went stiff and Cesar got in there to stop him. The people didnt see it at all :nhy:

ohhh this one was amazing she was a pup when kiera was we met at training very well bred very much like the old style worker nice and small.

nicest dog i have ever met we would love a rotty as our next dog mam fell in loves with asha too lol then there were a few more lovely lady ones.

i have met many nasty fuckers too one was a bitch and it was a dangerous dog and needed to get away from the family it was with

I can imagine, as gormless and creepy as Stan can be, its all deceptive, he does have an attitude behind him that people dont see and I think he would definitely take over with a weak owner

Hes definitely a dog that needs very strict boundaries and you cant forget that even if he does act all submissive and lovable

correct this is it with rotties they do need that strong leadership as if one flips your f***ked so to speak all that weight and strength they have one of the strongest bites

heres Bear a rescue i dealt with he was a star but not great with other dogs really at times and he was HUGE lol

I think cos they can be such a creep, they get away with alot more than they should cos they are "cute". My mum thinks Stan is a harmless little softie and we know he isnt :nhy: but we manage him properly and hes fine.

i agree you understand stan had the potential as most breeds do same with me and rostam ppl who truley know him in the house cant belive the change even mum and dad my borther sis cant belive this sweet sweet dog can be so nasty lol

Ah, but what I mean with Stan is he gives of this persona of being a softie who wouldnt hurt a fly yet he does have another side to him there that we have seen. Others dont see it in him :nhy: I agree though, I think all dogs have the potential anyway !!
