tia update....

we had a bad night last night.... tia woke up early hours coughing and wheezing so badly she was strugling to breathe, i had to bang her hard on the back.... i think it shook us both up a bit

so today weve been to the doctors.... she really isnt well the poor little lamb... :love: ... he examined her chest, she has a rash but its nothng to worry about... and her right side of the chest is full of shyte and clogged up (cant remember the proper terms he used lol)... so shes been given liquid paracetamol..antiobiotics and an inhaler to help her breathe... :love: ... she screams when she has to have the antibiotics cos she doesnt like the taste, so i have to force her mouth open :2431: .... she finds the inhaler fun though, and tries to squirt more in, but its too hard for her to do thank goodness....

so unless she settles down and goes to sleep later i wont be on :nhy: ....

sounds like what i've had for 3 weeks. give her hugs of me

Poor Tia, it's awful seeing them ill :love: lets hope the meds kick in and she gets better soon and you both can catch up on your sleep :love:

awwwwww hun having 2 asthmatic sons iknow how distressing it is when they are little and they cant breathe. give her a huge hug from us all and hope she feels much better soon

awww thanks girls... tia had a much better night .... the inhaler helped her loads... she had her first full nights sleep in ages... she woke up coughing at 8am... which was brill....

still having to hold her down to get the antibiotics into her though lololol....

i know... im hoping that by the end of the weekend shes back to almost full health at least, she needs to get back into school ... shes missing so much

im going to treat her tomorrow... cos shes been ever so good really and never moaned... even though i ahve to pin her down to take her medicine... shes still been no better... and its awful watching her blow through her lips rather than breathe and become breathless....

hmmmm i dunno hun... probably the high temp ... im not sure what symptoms you get with pig flu though... i doubt it is that .. its more of a bad chest infection ... maybe i should of taken her the doctors sooner and nipped it in the bud lol... but had i done that, they would have sent me home with calpol....cant bloomin win
