the only GSD not to have showlines in their blood waaaaaay back in their peds are your DDR lines but wat you have to remember waaaaaaay back wen they had shown them in germany they were still very much like the working GSD is today.

back when their is "show dogs" in working dogs lines its wen we had no divide in the breed no extremists as it was just one dog. the DDR dog was always a police dog a border patrol dog so never shown.

I watched a program earlier about dogs, Rob Alleign (sp) was on it saying how breeding for show has contributed to so many dogs still having some working traits in them but unfulfilled in a household with no job. He blames breeding for show for the amount of unruly and abandoned dogs we have now and says its wrong fazbo 729386

i would have to agree a lot of WG lines are bred to have seriously stupid amounts of prey drive and gen no defence lol so it isnt evened out and the dogs are just fecking crazy not wat you would want in a working dog let alone a pet

yea totally agree and ppl have these lil hyper dogs as pets and find them hard bloody work, off to see a patterdale fri with issues lol
