Fazza.

I was just wondering what do you think, I should do on Saturday?

I am meeting up, with some people for the group 2 dogs minimum... Taylor is nervy of dogs but willing to play in another way - I am just wondering, what way do you think I should introduce, Taylor? On the lead or off the lead?!

I have been training him tonight - and all in all he has been a good boy, pretty proud of him tonight. I am going to train him until Saturday - the best I can. So far, he has learned - Sit, Stay, Down and Leave. I think they are the main ones. But I guess it will change over the park... What else do I train him now?

you need to get a long line and take him to the park hun, practice his recall.... let him run on the lead, then shout him back, if he doesnt return pull him in, keep doing this until he comes back without being pulled.... at least if he runs wild on saturday you will have a little bit of recall, and he may come back to you

Aw he is pretty good with the recall.. On the parks.. Some of it, is proberly because if he doesn't come - We (me and my mum) leg it, the other way!! That seems to get him moving. He is pretty good with that. It's just meeting up part that, i'm worried about..

Really, I think he wants a boistrous dog that he can play with... Fingers crossed all goes well!! I may go there about 12:30pm (it's starting at 1pm) so he has an extra 1/2 hour.... We'll walk him on Friday aswell though.

yes get your recall hun as good as you can also get him intreated in one toy in particular then wen you are out and about he will focus on the toy wen you need him too

he may find it all a lil overwhelming hun at first but if you keep up with the work he will get there
wat i would do wen meeting the dogs dont let him off lead keep him on lead and the other dogs say hi to the ppl but get walking dont give any of the dogs a chance to piss about so you are teaching him theres nothing to worry bout then once things are settled you can let off if you have a good nuth recall if not put him on a long line xxx

i got there half an hour early b4 our first dog walk.... i kept fred on a long line hun, so he could still get about but i could rein him in if i needed too....i still had the control, but linda told me to just let him off and it was all fne....... i think taylor will be okay anyway, he might be frisky at first, but he will calm down x

i also had his favourite ball with me, so when i needed his attention i could get it ..... i didnt think it would work, but it worked a treat!!

Thanks!! I hope he blooming does as his told... He has this pink ball (yeah I know he's a boy! lmao) so if I keep that with him for a few days, and then he wil be glued to that ball :san15:

Oh better get him some treats aswell - I have been using the ones, Betty and Fred bought him :2433:

good idea faz... get him used to doing things for his pink ball... then whatever hes doing over the park and you want him to stop you can just show him the pink ball

dont worry too much... i did lol, i couldnt even speak to brenda cos my hear was thumping so much..... there will be no need to worry you will see .... its all good experience for taylor
