i had this email today from gsd rescue :cccc:
12th February 2009 and we have just seen one of the worst winters for many yearsLULU Our fight to give Bruno a decent life has ended.....Bruno came into the
rescues care a couple of weeks ago and during this time enjoyed a loving
home where he was well fed, warm and spent the nights indoors in comfort,
It had been obvious for sometime that Bruno was unwell and he underwent a
thorough vet check when he went to his foster home, unfortunately Bruno
took a turn for the worse and the very hard decision was made to put Bruno
to sleep and end his suffering, he had been suffering with Lymphoma and
Renal Failure.
18 months ago when this case was first bought to the RSPCA's attention had
they taken action we may have been celebrating Brunos recovery, instead he
spent the worst winter ever sleeping on hard concrete, chained up with no
shelter and obviously suffering in silence ..............How can that be
acceptable?
Please pass this message to as many people as you can so that justice can
be done for Bruno all these animals which are suffering and dying while the
RSPCA's coffers bulge even further with the donations that people are
making under the illusion that they are saving animals lives!!
Thank You
Paula
