| thats what i thought too hun, but theres people in alvaston nr derby doing it too .... theyre breeding them everywhere and why shouldnt they when no one is going to stop them... its too hard to identify them.... if the police stopped you with one, they couldnt say for sure it was a pitbull without doing dna | |

| Awww sweet thing. This is the last breed I would own in Liverpool with them seizing anything there, I would be scared incase the police took it away.
I thought the rednosed was a code for "more aggressive". Thats what people say here anyway.
Sorry to put a downer on your post, it is a cute pup

| genrally its the same breed depending on the lines and type ppl are breeding do you get certain colours and traits. the red nosed dogs are no more aggresive then the others.
However, it denpends on the lines of the dog to how his temperment will be, and the up bringing

| I never believed the "more aggressive" thing either Fazza but idiots do and they often breed for this "trait" I agree Karen, I hope the pup gets a good life but I just feel its unfair for people to keep breeding a dog that could be seized and killed due to the way it looks. Same as BYB's really, if people didnt buy them, others would stop breeding, but what can you do?? This law really needs to change :sadd: | |

| i know P thing is tho there are no really true pitts left more crosses like my dilly i would say except in the fighting rings perhaps as they will import the lines they want. which are gen very ppl friendly as a rule just they dont like other dogs
i was a lil worried wen i had the copper checking dilly out ad nearly stopped taking him out in public. its scary it really is

| It is scary. We seem to have an influx of DA "type" around here, makes me weary of taking mine anywhere at the minute, yet we see them without our dogs they are beautiful animals, happy to see people and kids.
Makes me sad that people cant "manage" them well enough to ward of this DA behaviour. They could make wonderful pets with the right people. Cesar is proof to me that they can happily meet/greet and live with other dogs even if they do have strong genes for fighting with the right handlers

| i know what you mean hun.
when i take dillan to use to help clients dogs you should see them gasp, i explain hes fine ect then when all is done i will tell them his story and they are shocked that he was from a fighting background. and never thought training could have any impact on the genetic urges, but it does and like you say ceasar is amazing i look up to him so much with regards to pitts as it can be done but ppl dont want to belive it
