| Sounds good Jan, I have booked marked that site, seems useful I want some driftwood for my tank now, am changing it over to natural, have all live plants now bar 3 which will also be replaced soon, have you seen the price for driftwood :san41: I am not going to pay that sort of money for it, am going down Pembrey, there is loads of interesting bits down there, take the dogs for a nice beach run at the same time. :2222: I juat have to do some reading now (unless Kenny can help me :whisteling: ) on how to 'cure' the driftwood before I put it in the tank | |

| :2879: Found it, I need to boil it for several hours then leave it stand in a container of water for 2 days for it to release the tannis, which apparently discolours your tank | |

| good link u posted Jan , if u check out clubs it gives u details of the kircaldy aquarist club i think its the only one left in fife ? not sure if they have had there show yet(held in a high school in kircaldy) great place to get fish as its an auction ,and u will get chance to get many fish that are very difficult to find in shops. Sandra it will still tan ur tank a little even after curing (i think i put all mine in skip when we moved) | |
