What a AMAZING wk end!

well friday we took tom up to bigland for mitras lesson and we were stabeling him there over night for the show too. well mitra had her classical dressage lesson which went very well. Sheelagh will be training mitra and tom for Para dressage. at the end of the lesson Sheelagh said her aim is to get them to the olyimpics *which she has done b4 with another rider and one of her horses* she said its will be the best thing ever a horse destined for the meat trade to go so far we will show them! i was welling up :2431: as tom has come so far since Sheelagh took him on and then sold him to us. we never thought mitra would ever be able to ride to a high standard again and now she is its amazing to see i was sooo happy, i said think of the possiblitys. a book and then a film about it all :san42: :san42:

well the next day was the show and tom was full of it so i said to mitra go in the clear round they were tiny and he just flew over them and didnt respect them really :2445: so we asked Zara Sheelagh daughter and toms old owner if she would jump on him and make him work. and she was soooo busy but did. she had him go round amazing he jumped about 3ft :2431: i have pics that i will upload

mitra worries due to her condition as if she falls she will break lol, well she went in equitation, the class was HUGE and tom won :2879: it was amazing as just the slightest jerk on the reigns can send sooting pain through her hands ect, unlike normal ppl and it does hinder her a LOT, altho she wont say it.

she was ment to do working hunter and novice jumping but pulled him out as she was sooo pleased with him and very sore lol.

today we had Burlington Burdock at a trophy day. well we won our working hunter class, hes never jumped anything like that b4 and did soooo well he was a STAR!! it was terrential rain as well but he did it :2431: we got a trophy too :san12: we then got a second in the cloured class. equitation and turn out we got two thrids, the judge just ignored me i was up against show horses and was the only cob she didnt even check my tack which is brand new so extreamly clean she just passed me my rosettes and said nothing and was down right rude.

but birdy was a star he stood quiet in the ring did everything i asked and it was only his third show. i was sooo pleased with him :love:

awww thanks hun it was fab im sooo pleased with birdy bops hes done nothing and is learning it all and loving it the WH judge LOVED him and asked if we were going hunting with him as he will love it :san42:

ives been trying to get jo to come with us but dont know if shes wanting to i may force her tho lmao

i really am plus i met a dog handler from GMP at bigland show :2431: we didnt half have a cin wag and laugh about the guys up there :san42:

thank you guys even tho i had a VERY rude judge who judged a few of my classes i was still very pleased with the horse and you couldnt fault him she just didnt like cobs. silly cow lmao

im not a cob person as im not very big so never felt the need to ride one lol altho i do love birdy bops hes a gem lol
