Some News

Well... I know how much you guys all love Bear and I thought it was only right that you should all know.. It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Lei made the decision to rehome Bear and he went to his new home in shropshire yesterday...

Unfortunately, Bear was becoming too much work for Lei to maintain and with Holly's ever growing needs and her disorder, it was becoming apparent that Bear was not receiving the attention he deserved and when it became obvious that I was not going to be able to take bear with being in a flat, Lei made the decision to rehome him. It was a decision which I agreed with and, although it was so difficult and painful to see him go, the needs of Bear were far more important than the selfish wants of myself and Lei.. What is most important is that Bear receives the best possible quality of life..

He has been rehomed with a professional dog trainer from shropshire and is apparently being trained up to work as a security dog.. Lei has been promised videos and pictures of him training and working so as soon as I can get hold of them... I will post them up here for you all to see..

It broke my heart to see him go.. It's so sad that in relationship splits, the only people who really lose out are the kids and the pets.. I know that this was the right thing to do though and I know that Bear will be properly looked after by his new owner and that is exactly what he deserves..

awwwww Rich, I know how much you both loved Bear and I know the decision wouldnt have been taken lightly and you have put Bears best interests at heart.

Sorry to hear that Bear has been re-homed Rich, but in the circumstances it sounds like the right decision, I do believe this was a heartbreaking thing to do for you and Lei, I would love to see the pictures and video's when you get them, good luck Bear in your new home, we will miss hearing about you and seeing your pics :love:

Oh don't worry guys... It would take some sort of catastrophic internet failure for me to not visit.. I will be on tons more soon as well, just getting moving sorted and I will be back in the fray..

It was a really painful thing to have to do but it was in the interests of Bear and his new owner seems to be perfect for him.. He was extremely knowledgeable and a massive german shepherd fan and it looks like Bear will be having an exciting and interesting life.. :)

Thanks Bev... I believe it was the right thing to do... Bear is going to have an incredible time from what I know.. I can't wait to see videos and I can assure you, they will be posted up here as soon as I get them..

Thanks Karen :love: It's all very different and new but it's all good.. I am enjoying it lots.. And thanks too Farah.. It was definitely the right thing to do.. Apparently he has settled in really well and has a 6 year old german shepherd friend to play with lol..
